LA independent rockers, VYCES, has released their latest single "Thin Luck" and it's heavy! This one makes you want to get up and headbang from the moment you hear the opening riff.
There are a host of things going on in this banger - for starters, lead vocalist, Dave Naruszewicz' smooth, pleasing vocals are easy to understand, and his dynamic range peppered in with the occasional growl indicates he has what it takes to knock this one out of the park.
Guitarist Shawn Patterson's savage riffs are the first thing you hear when the song kicks in and immediately draws you in for quite the ride. "Thin Luck" has some amazing guitar work throughout that does not disappoint. The aggressive, rhythmic melodies that Patterson effortlessly nails with great precision makes this one of VYCES most memorable tracks.
Russell Ray's powerhouse drumming style really gets things going. The simplistic, yet intense, style of drumming puts this song right in the pocket and really holds down the dark grooves. This one will definitely have you tapping on the steering wheel of your vehicle.
The bassist, Andrew Trujillo, does a fantastic job locking it in with Ray and Patterson; the rhythm section really compliments each other well, carving out the perfect spot for Naruszewicz' unique vocal style.
In conclusion, VYCES has released a very well composed track that will leave you begging for the next single.
